Vintage Albuquerque developed into a four-evening event at the end of June. The final evening took place under a soaring tent overlooking the Sandia Mountains at the Prairie Star Restaurant in Bernalillo, New Mexico. A fine dinner was served during an exciting live auction of rare wine lots, unique wine excursions, and wonderful art. Each year ten to fourteen celebrated artists were invited to participate in the auction. Jane was a returning artist to this event. For 2008 she was the featured artist. Her oil painting, Anticipation, was on Vintage Albuquerque's brochures, private label wines, posters, and catalogs. What started in 1992 as a small fundraiser grew into the largest wine auction event in the southwest.
